Does vitamin C really work?

Me and my kids are so sick that im on a mission to avoid it again at any cost. Do you think vitamins really help in preventing sickness and what else do you think helps?

  • Take some oil of oregano, and lots of garlic! That's what prevents me from catching a cold.

  • Yes, vitamin C works for me. As soon as I start feeling crummy I'll drink as much orange juice as I can stand. Vitamin C is a water soluble vitamin so any extra is your system just gets flushed out.

  • There's more than just vit C to think about. Talk to your doc (especially for kids) before just pushing it - you might have low levels of other vits that would help more.
