Do Heating-Pads harm my baby?

Hi fellow-moms!
I am currently pregnant. I get a lot of backpain and would like to use my heatingpad but am scared that it might hurt my little one. I did buy this one: (top right, the blue one) because it only applies to my back and nowhere in the front.

Does anyone of you know if this is fine?

  • i don't think so, your baby inside a sac so he/she is safe,
and if u still want to double check call ur ob and ask, even tho their closed for the weekend u can ask the 24/7 help line that ur ob set up
    for after hrs call..
good luck and let us now how that will go :)

  • No because it does not raise your core temperature which is the concern with things like hot tubs.
