How do i cook/grill corn on the cob?

we have a ton of corn on the cob and my parents just won this huge really nice grill and we want to grill them up really great instead of boiling them in water.
how do we do it :D

  • don't do anything. Throw them on the grill while still in their husks. Grill them for 5-10 minutes. Unwrap and enjoy. They are sooo good this way- we used to boil, wrap in foil, etc. Once we tried this way we have never gone back!

  • What we do:
    Soak them in a cooler or your sink in cool slat water for about 20-30 min. Husks and all. Then set them. On a paper towel to get some of the extra water out. If you want to take the husks off ( we do) and we add a little lemon juice and butter. Grill on low for about 30-45 min, rotating them ever 10 or so.... So yummy!

  • GRILLED CORN ON THE COB
    Corn on cob with husks on
    Butter (stick works best)
    Aluminum foil

    Pull back small amount of husk. Put small amount of butter on corn. Put husks back over again. Wrap in foil. Put on hot grill turning once in a while. Leave on grill 15-30 minutes. Corn won't burn too fast. Be careful very hot when husking corn.

  • either wrap the peeled corn in foil and grill or throw them on with the husks on them and grill

  • Pull back the husks and remove the silk (this makes it much more enjoyable to eat) then wrap the husks back around the corn and soak it in water for about 30 minutes (this will help prevent it from chatching fire on your grill). Grill it in the husk and it's great, no butter or salt needed.

  • We just put them w/ husks on in the grill. The silk will come off easily when you open them to eat. Don't worry about butter or salt till after their done.

  • I make a lime chili compound butter and (chili powder, lime juice, salt , cumin to taste mix in softened butter) then peel back all but outer leaves of corn , spread butter, on cob and fold leaves back up securing with string. grill turning occasionally 10-15 min.
