When you say you will "pray for someone/something"...

how long do you keep the person or situation in your prayers?

  • Well it depends on what the circumstance is,, I am praying for my mother to get better from breast cancer and I pray for her every night, when I see a Mom struggling with something on here I pray that day,, for their pain to be helped in some way,, I think any good thoughts you can give to someone will help even if you don't know them.

  • Until I hear about the outcome, unless it is a situation where some one asks for prayer about a specific event at a specific date or time. This I would pray until the event or day is over.

  • It depends on the situation. If someone asks me to send blessings because their child has a bad flu I'm going to do so for less time than I may if their child had cancer. Usually I will pray until I feel the situation has been bettered in one way or another or until they tell me things have changed
