Waxed wood floor--how to clean?

I have a very old house. I have hardwood floors, but they are waxed wood floors, not finished. Every cleaner I look at says "not for use on waxed wood floors". We were able to find a special cleaner from Bruce on the internet 2 years ago after we bought the house, but we can no longer find it. My floor is beginning to look horrible. Anyone know a good way to get my floor clean without it looking like it has a dull residue over it?

I got curious because I was going to suggest Murphy Oil Soap. So I googled it and found this site. You might also want to try mopping with vinegar & water. My grandma used vinegar & water to clean EVERYTHING.
