Baby mush recipe

I'm making (at least trying to make) baby food. I know I can easily make carrots, zuccini, broccoli, sweet potatoes, peas. What other vegetables can be made into baby food EASILY? Do you know if there's any vegetables/fruits I should wait to introduce? Thanks!

  • Green beans & squash are great too. Some things like broccoli, beans, & asparagus can make baby a little too gassy early on, introduce them a little later. Avacado, pears, bananas and apple are great early fruits, wait on the citrus fruits (too much acid). Any thing can be easily turned into baby food by simply steaming or boiling (depending on food) and pureeing. Make a big batch, freeze in ice cube trays, then pop them out and store one in a freezer bag. You can just defrost one or two as needed. My DD never had jarred food, if I can help you further, let me know.
