  • Yes if you are looking for a real corset that will give you results and not a victoria Secret all for show and no glow!

  • sorry to post so late after your question. I'm researching corsets now for my own use. From what i've found, the steel boning refers to the type of boning used for support. Satin is just simply the fabric used. So you could get a satin, steel boned corset. Or you could go to fredericks of hollywood and get a satin corset with plastic boning (useless outside the bedroom) for $60 that does no good. Check out this site if your looking for an actual real corset to slim your waist. They'll take all your measurements to give you the best fit and results. (stay away from pvc/leather if you want long term wear. go with satin, or for tighter lacing, go with brocade)

Good luck, and PM me if you have any questions. (don't worry, i know you posted anon, i won't tell anyone who you are)
