Which brand of sandals do you recommend for a 4 year old boy?

We need to buy new sandals & have been looking at Teva's, Timberlands & some others. I bought a pair of Robeez Tredz & they hurt his ankles & all around the top of his feet got red, so those went back. Which brand does your little guy find the most comfortable? Thanks! :)

  • My son has a really nice pair by Timberland... they are similar to these:

They are a nice sturdy sandal... it is the pair he wears most often... and then he has a few cheap flip flops and some crocks

  • I'd go with the Teva's. Biggest thing is to get something that goes around his heel to help keep them on his feet.

  • LL Bean's Cool Wave Sandals!! My kids have always had them... they last and Beans stands by them if they don't!! They also make a closed toe version... I swear by both kinds for my kids ;o)

  • DS loves the ones from Old navy - just like the flip flops but with an ankle strap. We also picked some up from Target, leather ones - don't ask the name, I don't remember, but they are comfy and wearing well, and they were pretty cheap.

  • My SO really doesnt like our boy to wear flip flops so I have one pair we got from Walmart but he doesnt like wearing them either. So he wears Crocs.
