I know every baby is different but in general, do babies tend to sleep more when they're going through a growth spurt? My almost 8 month old has been taking a lot longer/more frequent naps in the last few days and eating more as well. Just wondering what others experienced with their babies! Thanks.

  • Totally normal. It's HARD WORK growing.

I get at least a little warning before my kids hit a growth spurt. First they'll eat everything in the house for days/weeks/months. Then they won't have hardly any appetite at all. Then they grow overnight and their clothes that were too big suddenly fit or are too small.
