I have a question about food. Ideas?

This is actually 2 questions in one. What are some good cheap, frugal ways to flavor white rice? and What are some good cheap, frugal, simple lunch ideas I can make for my kids? They need to be wheat / gluten free and dairy free cause of allergies.

They also need to be very easy on the budget. The lower the cost the better.

Thanks!

  • Bouillon cubes dissolved in the water before adding the rice is a cheap and easy way to add a little flavor.

Or try toasting the rice before cooking it.
