Any guacamole addicts out there?

i found a healthier recipes than the traditional. Are yo uready?

1 avacado
1 can of young green peas (pureed in a magic bullet or food processor)
1 package of guacamole seasoning
1 heaping table spoon of greek yogurt
half a teaspoon of lemon juice
half a teaspoon of lime juice
1/4 cup of chopped tomato
1/4 cup of chopped onion

i swear you will not taste the difference!

  • Might try that, although, mine's actually lower in fat than that - I don't cut the avocado with anything, just mash it with a little lime juice and add the diced veggies, salt and pepper.

  • sounds good, must try. i just make it avocado. red onind. celantro, lime and salt and pepper and sometimes diced tomoatoe. i don't use the processer so its nice and chunky

  • guacamole usually calls for 2 avacados. you are replacing 1 avacado with the can of peas which cuts all the fat from the extra avacado. you can also omit the yogurt.

  • oh and i like my avacado in it chunky but i puree the peas because i dont want to look at it as a pea in my guacamole.

  • Sounds good but I am highly allergic to onions. I always ask for slices of avocado, when the  guacamole has onions in it.
