How often do you eat foods that are "bad" for you- fried stuff, ice cream, candy, etc.?

  • not that often i have been working out and eating alot healthier and surprisingly it hasn't been that hard like i thought it would. my dh on the other hand is another story!!!

  • LOL I'm sitting here eating Ben&Jerry's Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough ice cream right now. There was an earlier post about chocolate chip cookies, or cookie dough ice cream and I've been craving it since. Hubby was nice enough to go get some. He wanted a cold soda anyway.

  • probably more than i should lol. I have gotten pretty good recently and cut down to maybe once a week. Or one day out of the week i will just ignore my healthy eating rules, but don't go overboard. I have replaced a lot of my vices for more healthier alernatives though. Like I buy Skinny Cow or the Weight watchers ice cream sandwiches. Only 140 calories. I love cereal so i have replaced the sugary ones with Kashi. I also started eating my favorite fruits to tame my sweet tooth. I'm on a watermelon kick right now, so yummy! I still have a soft spot for fried chicken but i have managed to cut that to once every few weeks or something. I use to eat it several times a week!!

  • Depends if I got in a fight with my husband or not.. I'm such an emotional eater!
    Seriously though, I usually eat a couple jellybeans everyday and fried food once or twice a week.

  • Maybe once a month. If I can fit the calories in, and I've got all my veggies, fruits, calcium, and whole grains in I'll have it (that really doesn't happen with a 1200 calorie diet). Every once in a while I skip a serving of whole grains for half a serving of chips though. It's so hard with all these Summer BBQs :(

  • Rarely on the fried foods. Maybe a couple times a month on ice cream (during summer). Candy, rarely. Chocolate though (like your basic good dark chocolate bar) a couple times a month year round practically.
