How do I sew dots

I want to sew on dots like the eyes, pink cheeks, and bown dots in this picture, but I can't find any instructions online. Any tips on where to find directions or how to do it? Thanks in advance!

  • I would think they would be appliquéd on before you make the whole cookie shape and stuff it or whatever it is.

    Look up appliqué.

  • You can use glue and/or sew them on with a blanket stitch to make the edges lay flat. Look up blanket stitch and you will see instructions plus probably a video or two.

  • Looks like a satin stitch to me---maybe a padded satin stitch. Cute little craft, by the way.
