Does your DH help without being asked?

I want to know how many other moms are married to a terrific man like mine. He works, I work. He does more than 50% of the housework. I can't be the only one with a super DH. Let's brag on them a little.

  • Mine is wonderful, he totally helps out. Of course, there are things I may have to give him a little nudge about (organizing garage, larger projects), but when it comes to dishes, picking up, etc, he is marvelous!

  • My DH is truly a gem.

After work he give me time w/the babies and he gets their dinner going so I can just play with them. Then he does baths. As for overall cleaning, it's equal - I'm much messier so I have to clean up after myself quite a bit. He is a doll and right there with anything that needs to be done.

As a personal pet peeve - I *HATE* it when women say their husbands "help" out.

You do not HELP out around your own home, just like you do not BABYSIT your own kids.

It's a PARTNERSHIP. Maybe somedays one does more than the other, but it's a TEAM.

  • HA.

I just called my husband a DOLL.

I meant "EQUAL PARTNER TEAM MATE".

    (and DOLL too...)

  • Not so much but he will get a bug up his butt every once in awhile and help like crazy...depends on his mood..but he for the most part will at least pick up after himself.
