  • I worked until I had my son. I work in a quality control lab, so it was 50/50 sitting and standing.

  • My first I was at work when I went in labor, and back to work a week later. My second I was a college student- finished summer semester at 8 1/2 months & took 2 months off. My third I worked til the week before her scheduled induction & came back 8 weeks later.

  • I worked until the end of business on the Friday before I went in on Sunday to be induced. Fortunately for me, I had/have a desk job AND my husband works just a couple of blocks away. Other than being very, very tired at the end of the day, it wasn't too bad for me.

  • I went to my final CNM appt on April 4th, on my 40th week and she said my blood pressure had been high 3 appts in a row (I was VERY stressed) so she had me stop. My daughter was born 5 days later.

  • With my first, my job stressed me to the point where I quit when I was 4 months pregnant. (not to mention that MIL and DH were stressing me about leaving the stressful job) With this one, I plan on working as long as I can.
