How do aircards work?

I don't understand the gb mg lingo ....

  • ..ok, lets see.. and this is just rough estimate.. theres no way to tell exactly.. but lets say you spend an hour IMing.. thats gonna be, at the most, roughly 1MB. Downloading a photo could go anywhere from .5 MB to 2 MB. Downloading an mp3 might be as little as 2ish or as much as 9 MB. A good illustration of how varied the data usage can be is this: an hour of web browsing alone might run between 1-25 MB. Thats a BIG difference.Theres 1024 MB in a GB. In a nutshell, mama, if the aircard is your sole source of internet, get an unlimited plan for that line.
