Is this ok for a teacher gift?

I got a glass picture frame ,candle and 2 nice looking thick coffee mugs. For 5yr old sons teacher and aid.Not sure about coffee mugs since it so cliche? And i going to get my son to write small notes.Which will be quite a feat for him since he is autistic.

  • Sounds lovely!

My 1st grader is making a small (tree ornament size) cross stitch project for his teacher.

  • We give gift cards (if we give anything) that way they can use them to get what they want. Can you imagine how many frames/mugs/artwork/etc they must have with 20+ kids in their room times how many years they've been teaching. I have friends that are teachers and they prefer gift cards (same for Christmas).
