How to keep the medicine down?

I’m not big on meds, but my daughter (6y/o) has missed far to much school because of seasonal allergies - I HAVE TO get something into her.
The problem is she works herself up into such a state that she vomits!
She hates the taste of kind of medicine - they are all to sweet or to sour. (and I have to agree with her - ick)
You’d think once it was down she’d me fine - nope! That’s when she vomits, about 10 minutes after.
I even tried a small pill (got it from the DR) she couldn't do it.

How do I keep the medicine IN HER!

PS I sent her to school, but she's getting headaches and can't function because she's blowing her nose ever 3 minutes.

  • try asking your doctor for flavored medicine. like bubble gum, my kids hate taking medicine. but if it tastes like candy, they barely notice it ;D good luck

  • It worked!!!
I did tell her, because I was afraid if I tried to sneak it in there:
    1) She'd smell it and vomit.
    2) Never trust me again.
She said she'd try it and was very happy she couldn't taste it.
