What do you think about having a myspace or a facebook if your married?

I think i might delete our seporate myspace accounts and just making my husband and i one facebook account to keep up with our friends without having to deal with people hitting on us.

  • i see nothing wrong with both parties having their own fb or ms as long as they don't have inappropriate conversations or do anything to jeopardize their relationship with their spouse.

  • I have a FB and 5 FB pages. Plus a MySpace (which I'm rarely on), a PaganSpace and a few other Social Network accounts... I don't know why it would matter... My DH has his own too... Can't say I've ever seen a reason for him not to...

And why are people hitting on you? My FB says single (because it won't let me marry my DH due to some stupid system flaw) and I've never once been hit on by random people - and your friends should know better...

  • FaceBook is about social networking, not trolling for sex partners. My DH and I each have accounts, as do our teenage kids. It's not about finding partners, it's a fun way to interact with and keep in touch with friends and family.

  • We did the same thing with Myspace. We keep FB pages seperate, but we talk about who's on our friends lists....so it's not random people we don't know or didn't grow up with....
