ideas to help with potty regression?

my daughter has been potty trained since 18 months. she will be 4 next month and has suddenly decided it is ok to pee her pants. she wont do it in public, but at home she will pee herself and then make up stories about how its not pee, she spilled something just right there etc. its been going on for the better part of a week now. i'm getting really frustrated, does anyone have any ideas? what would you do?

  • Is this happening when she is watching T.V. ? She may really be having accidents, or she may just be getting lazy. Check with the doc to rule out a bladder issue, like an enlargement or infection. Then move on to punishment. ( If she can't take potty brakes, no more T.V.)
