  • He should be paying for anything he ADDS onto your expenses. Food, water, utilities. Your mortgage is the same whether or not he lives there.

  • That's up to you. Do you feel like he does enough elsewhere in the relationship and is he grateful for all you do?

Answer by Anonymous at 1:01 AM on Jun. 7, 2011

  • Yes. I would charge half the mortgage.

  • uh YEAH..!!! Unless he does all the housework... and raising of the kids it should be 50/50 or at the very least you should both pitch in and equal percentage of your income.. 25% each a week rent.

  • About a year ago i would have answered 'yes, he should pay half.' I had the same problem. I could not (i thought & peoples comments) afford my bf. Now that my bf is gone to another country and cant come back, we're both  very sad and upset over it. Now i realize how much i love him and how much he helped me in other ways. Such as; he always helped me clean, he cooked often, he was great in bed and he made me feel like a sexy momma! If i had another chance i would take what he gave me in cash because all the other things he did for me was priceless!
