So I am on my way to work this morning, waiting at a red light. Next to me, a police officer pulls up and is also waiting. Light turns green and this "representative of our community" takes off like he's in the Indy 500. No lights, no siren, so it wasn't obvious that he was responding to a call. The guy literally had to be doing 70 in a 35. Why is this okay?

  • The police in our town act like they have never taken a driver's exam. The rules don't apply to them. I saw one not wearing his seat belt the other day!
