Have you ever replanted a lilac tree?

as soon as i planted it where i wanted it, the lilacs wilted away and i see the other lilac trees still doing ok. will it come back strong next year?

  • It went into temporary shock. If it's still living and going getting worse...it should be just fine once it gets its roots established in it's new home.
    We recently replanted a a Lilac bush (Texas "Vitex" Lilac) and we did it really quick so that the air wasnt on the roots for but a few minutes.
    It just kept right on blooming luckily.
