Does anyone else own a Beattle that the check engine light comes on randomly and there is nothing wrong?

  • I have never owned a Beattle, but the check engine light going off is fairly common in all kinds of vehicles. Any mechanic with a code reader should be able to plug you in and reset it and also tell you what's tripping it.

  • yeah he did he reset it cause the things it said was wrong were not wrong with it and he said it was common with Beattles so I was wondering if he was bsing me or if it really is....He isn't one to bs me and I do know about cars, but this is my first VW

  • Sometimes older cars have glitches - I'd chalk it up to that. My mom's t-bird has a light always on indicating to add coollant ...
