If I take green tea pills while I am breast feeding will it affect my newborn?

When I was in high school I would take green tea pills to give me energy and lose weight. I have a 3 week old and I was wanting to start taking them again so I can get things done around the house. If anyone has any advise please let me know.
Thank you, Nichole

  • It could the best person to ask that is your doctor. Some thing go to your milk faster than other. Like coffee's caffine isn't a big deal while drink is the worst.
