How can I stabilize a clothes rack?

one of those cheap plastic ones from Walmart. When I put clothes on it, it tends to lean to one side... not really tip over, but leans. I am afraid it will break at some point.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to stabilize it?

  • In plastic? Can you put a dowel in the cross rod? LOL, I'm thinking if you had paid a couple more bucks for a metal one, it would have been cheaper than having to go buy dowels to reinforce a plastic one.

  • I am not totally sure what you are referring to exactly but can you use furniture/wall anchors on it?
