  • things like chocolate kisses in colored netting with ribbon tied around it.

    skip those single use cameras. I used to work in photo labs and the pictures NEVER turned out well! There were times when the bride came back for them and I had to tell her that there were no images to print. Even if people do remember to turn on the flash, and you HAVE to, the pictures are usually bad and not worth it.
    If they even still make the silly things.

    Have a few friends go around taking some candid shots instead.

  • Music cd. Also check out do it ourself weddings favors on google. They list different sites that also have ideas for you. Like Martha Stewart, beau coup, etc. Congrats.

  • I matchbooks with our names, wedding date and a fleur-de-lis on them. We wanted something people could use later and matchbooks sounded like a good idea! We ordered them off of Ebay and got 200 for around $40. They were in a tulle bag with a candle shaped like a fall leaf (also from Ebay) . We still have some matchbooks and we have been married for 5 years!
