    It's funny - crap like this is why I originally went back to school.  I had this rosy idea that I could make a difference in bridging the gap between tech know-how and political idiocy.  The deeper I get into tech, the more I realize what a lost cause it is.  So much of it is so complex, and the judiciary and politicians are so lowest common denominator, it would take a week just to explain the most basic concepts to them.  They don't WANT to know- they'd rather have someone else sum it up and trust their word for it.  Problem is, the people they hire to "sum" are just as stupid as they are.

  • Posted about this last week - perfect example of why idiots who know nothing about tech should not be allowed to meddle with laws that relate to that tech. The better name for it should be: how to outsource billions of dollars overseas with the stroke of a pen.
