When can toddlers eat popcorn?

just wondering at what age can a toddler eat popcorn without choking being a problem?

  • We gave all our kids popcorn from about 1 year old, but we would carefully break off the end with the skin on it, so they only got the soft puffy bit, until they were about 2 years old.

  • My kids had popcorn at about 2 with me supervising and making sure they did not get any kernels.

  • My daughter started her love affair with popcorn at 18 months old. Now whenever we make it she takes over the bowl and her dad and I are lucky to get a bite.

  • mine doesn;t really eat it yet. she has had tiny bits of some when my mother had it but i don;t feel comfortable with it yet. she is 2 and i just don;t feel comfortable with it yet but eventually.
