Does a pool have to be above a certain temperature to go in it?

I'm alomst 7 weeks and I want to go swimming but the water is pretty cold still and I didn't want to chance it, but its just getting so hot I'm going crazy. Is there a certain temperature the water should be above before getting in it?

  • I'd say at least 70 degrees & up is fine for you. If you go in & after a few minutes you find it too uncomfortable then get out. How about lying on a float in the pool?
