  • LOL! First baby was born after we were married 13 years! Now I have another due shortly & we'll be married 18 years! :) I had to get a lot out of my system before I made the baby commitment. We traveled a lot & worked & generally had many years of "US" time. Then we were ready to start a new chapter!

  • Our older daughter was born before we were married, she was 5 months old when we got married. Personally, I am looking forward to having "us" time once the kids are grown, but I'm very glad we didn't wait until we were older to have children. My MIL was in her 40s when my husband was born and he has been taking care of elderly ailing parents since his teen years. That's too much of a burden to place on a child.
