I apply to much pressure on my self..how2stop?

I know it comes from how my mother raised me. She put everything on my shoulders** and it eventually broke me down and lost everything. Now that I am over that I still find myself becoming overwhelmed/pressurized.

(she put all childcare responsibilites and household care on me as a teen and had no free time...later on she shifted all financial responsibilities on me)

  • As an adult you can work on this and work through it. Read some books on self esteem and/or seek out some counseling. One good book you might want to try is What Happy Women Know. You can browse at a good book store and look over many books. Good luck!
