  • depends on your insurance, I was only supposed to have one at 18 weeks before I had 2 at the end for some complications

  • Depends on your doctor. If everything looked good at the last one chances are you won't get another one.

  • Yeah depends on your doctor &/or insurance. With my 1st, I only had 1 ultrasound. With my 2nd, I had one every appointment b/c I was high risk.

  • My doctor ONLY does one at about 20 weeks unless something is wrong. I wouldn't worry...it is probably just doctor's preference.

  • I wouldn't want to do *any* ultrasounds at all without an indication-- are you having complications?

  • not really i just wanna see which way he's turned, so i can ask what i can do to get him to turn the right way if he's breach

  • Palpation is perfectly safe, ask for this instead.
Or you can do Belly Mapping.
If you'd like you can always do the exercises from home that encourage baby's head down anyhow.
And there are other safe things to do if you should find you want to go that route.

I can help more if you'd like.
    :-)
    Good luck!
