Why do my finger tips feel tingly?

I could be sitting down watching television or at the computer and my tips of my fingers start to tingle not all but 2 it depends where I am.
It is mostly in the nail bed area...what is it? It is very strange.
And if I go see the doctor of course it will be gone. I can only describe it right.

  • I had carpel tunnel and the surgery that followed, most of the tingling went away. Keyboarding definitely is a cause, and the mouse makes it worse. If you have a roller ball it is supposed to help. Good circulation helps too. Now I take a vitamin that keeps the platelets from sticking and forming clots. I don't have pain anymore.
