Why won't she sleep?!

My daughter is 3 months old and has been sleeping throughout the night since about a month ago. All of a sudden she has started staying up all night and sleeping ALL day. No matter what I do she won't stay awake. Ugh. I'm getting worn down.. What can I do??

  • truthteller is right. Babies don't have an on-off switch. Go with the flow--she will normnalize the pattern naturally after a while. Sleep when the baby sleeps.

  • She's doing it because she's three months old and this is normal. She'll change the pattern again and again and again. At this age you need to go with it; too early for crying it out or sleep training if you're so inclined.

  • it's normal. Sleep patterns alter as children grow. It will get back on track. It just takes time.
