Is your kindergartener having a graduation?

Mine is not and it makes me a little sad. I was just wondering if that was fairly typical or not? After thinking about it I am not sure why there is actually a graduation ceremony but.....

  • I think that there shouldn't be graduations for anything other than HS and college or technical school. I think all the others cheapen the experience for the ones that really count.

  • In my town the only kids that have kindergarten graduation are kids that go to private schools. None of the public schools around here do anything like that.

  • They have them here at their school in Indiana but at their school in Ohio they did not. In fact the only graduation you ever had there was your high school one.

  • Thank God, no. Graduation is for high school and college, not every single grade.

  • They don't do kindergarten 'graduation' here, but they did do a music program at the end of the year.
