Will silver plated jewelry wear out or turn your skin green?

I'm looking at different supplies to make jewelry and I don't know a whole lot about it yet.

  • YES, it probaby have some "nickel" in it. Which I and alot of other people are easily allergic to. It's called "nickel-dermatitis" I think and it's a miserable, nasty rash. It itches like burns when you itch it and then it oozes easily. I do not buy anything except good jewelry but some people can and enjoy costume jewelry. I wish I could.
It effects my ears, fingers, wrists, anywhere the metal touches.
That's all the info I have about it.
