  • In my opinion planning leads to mishap and let downs. You don't know what the future holds even once you retire. . . I personally won't plan a dang thing but what I do today and even then I expect things to not go as planned. JMHO

  • We have been saving for our retirement for years. DH and I both work full time, so we have money going into our 401k's and some other investments.

Other than that, no, we have no plans.

  • Plan as in save money or plan what we want to do? We save money but have no idea what will happen, we are only mid 20's so we got awhile, lol.

  • I started saving for retirement when I started my job. I was 20. Ha old soul.

  • I'm 24 and I've been planning retirement for the last two years, thinking about it since I was 16 ish. So yeah, I'm a planner. And sure we might not hit our retirement goals- but I've found that just having a goal can get you further than not having one.

  • Better plan or your retirement will be spent in abject poverty.

  • I'm planning my retirement in that I've continued to work and have enough time with my employer (I'm a state employee) to be vested for the pension plan (though I'll have to work many more years before it is much of one). I spent several years doing contract work with software companies that went belly up so I haven't been putting much away towards retirement.

  • We're planning as far as the financial side goes. Beyond that, we'll decide what to do with that time when we get there.
