What's the most effective way to remove hot glue from a counter top?

(It's not peeling off with my nails, btw)

  • My husband said that if it's granite, you can use a razor knife. If not, there are different chemicals you can use, but it could damage the surface. You might try to heat it to make it softer so it will come up.

  • Thanks! Nail polish remover, elbow grease and the end of a spoon did the job :o) I tried the razor blade, but the glue was too thick - it wouldn't budge.
