Just put up the playpen...

and the dog decides to chew on the plastic parts on the bottom!!! :[ soo frustrated. not sure how to handle this one,, he normally chews things up and we haven't found a way to stop him.. but we cannot have him chewing up the babys stuff...

  • we have the playpen in our living room and the doorway is to wide for a gate :[ he's 3 years old and we've tried everything to prevent him from chewing,, very stubborn... our 1 year old pup doesn't even chew on things!!!

  • i'll get down votes but whatever, when my dog dd that, i'd pop him on the nose, needless to say he dosen't chew anymore

  • find a new home for him or get a personal trainer.

  • Have you taken him for any training? This may need some professional intervention. You can always spray bitter apple (from the pet store) on anything the baby won't actually be handling.

  • Get a squirt bottle and fill with water,every time he bites it,spray him with it. He needs to be taught to stop it,he will,u need to be consistant with ti.

  • Have you tried spraying things with Bitter Apple? Spray it on everything. It makes it taste bad to them.

  • hmm haven't tried bitter apple! that's a good idea :]
    he decides to go for the things when were in bed at night, when we leave we put them in their crates.. but we don't want to have to put them in their crates at night :[
