  • I think it's a matter of choice, but I wouldn't and didn't do it past 1 year.

  • It's a personal choice. Personally, I think anything past 18 months is too much.

  • My son is almost 13 mos, and I want to start weaning soon. He is too dependent on my breast, especailly at night. I fear it will be a hard wean.

  • In public? Past 2 when they are old enough to understand that they need to be Patience. At all? Never. I have no problem with slef weaned children. I personally would not want to go past 3 but most children self wean by 3 a few at four, rarely do they self wean beyond 4.
