  • I've got a shepherd/hound mix. We got her as an adult, so we knew she was good with the kids.

I grew up with a poodle who was wonderful. I currently have a Lhasanese who is also wonderful. But I've known families with German Shepherds, Schnauzers, different breeds of terrier, collies, shelties, labs, retrievers, setters... lots of good dogs out there... it depends a lot on your family's situation.

  • Oh, there are sooo many!! Alot of families love labs and retrievers for larger breeds,
    medium breeds...here's a link that says Kid-friendly dogs:http://dogtime.com/kid-friendly-dogs-list.html

I think pugs, boston terriers etc ,,even dachshunds can get frustrated with little children too easily...
IDK....there are just so many. It would take more looking around online really.
    Good Luck though!
