  • that choice is really up to you unless you are having complications in your pregnancy. I am 32 weeks and i just put my maternity notice in.

  • Some employers want you to go as soon as your last trimester,
or as soon as your 7th month.
Some just want you to go as soon as you start showing,
But It is up to you and your comfort level.
If you cant stand being at work and they will pay you your leave then GO FOR IT!!!!
    Good Luck.

  • I waited until I was a week late and a day before my induction.
I didn't want to waste days off without a baby.

  • I was scheduled to be induced on a Tuesday w/my 1st & then scheduled C w/my 2nd. I worked up until the Friday before. I wanted to use my time off AFTER I had my baby...not before they were even born.

Unless there is a medical reason to go out early, I personally would hold out as long as possible.

    Congrats!

  • I waited til 3 weeks before I was due expecting an early delivery w/ #4, he was born 2 weeks later and then I had 6 weeks off, gave me 8 weeks total, however- had he came late... my leave would have extended longer than my wallet planned for. :)
