Do you take your children out on different occasions due to age difference?

I wish I could take my kids with me to the mall but I only get to go with my toddler. My oldest son prefers to stay home with DH.

  • Sometimes, if there is someone to leave the other kids with. Now that they are getting a bit older (ds is 9, dds are almost 7 and 4.5) they have different interests, want to see different movies, etc. Plus the youngest is the only one not in school every day, so she goes places with me while the others are in school. However, we still do a lot of things together as well- more together than separately, really.

  • my kiddos are 3 years apart. we do the same things and take them the same places.. 5+ years apart would be a different story until they got older

  • I take them out on their own just to get one on one time with them.

  • i think its good to take them out together and separately - good to have some one on one time with each child.
