ON WHAT TEMP DO U SET UR AC SO UR BILL WILL NOT BE THAT HIGH?

i in nc ..just wondering..i heard 78 and just keep it like tht but its too hot 4 me

  • 78 would be too hot for me too. I keep ours on 75 here. When we had a smaller house I kept it on 71 and I liked that much better, but we can't afford $600 a month electric bills in the summer.

  • im in Oklahoma & i keep it at 75 during the day. when DH comes home he turns it down to 72 cause he's always burning hot. im not sure how much our bill is tho b/c its averaged...but its lower than most in our area (our house is small so it doesnt take much to keep it cool).

  • We keep it around 75. To me, that's perfectly comfortable in summer clothes, though by August, I'm so used to hot weather that 76 or 77 can be OK.

  • I'm in SC, we keep ours set at 72.. Our house is 2000 sq ft and our electric bill is around 150.00 a month..
