Infant rubbing eyes - constantly?

My 4month old daughter is constantly rubbing her eyes. I have asked my ped about it and they said it was nothing. But i am slightly concerned because she is doing it all the time. she also rubs her eyes when am trying to feed her. There is no redness or sign of infection in her eyes. Has anyone else expereinced this before?

  • My son does this too except he kinda does more of a grabbing type thing on his whole face, when he eats or wants something in his mouth like his paci for some reason I think it is just one of their ways of comforting themselves
