  • PTS or Post Tubal Syndrome is often caused by damage to the ovaries during surgery and as a result loss of estrogen due to loss of blood supply to the ovaries. Most of the symptoms are due to an estrogen/progesterone imbalance. Symptoms include hot flashes, flushes, night sweats, heavy irregular painful periods, clammy feeling, chills, mood swings, irritability, trouble sleeping through the night with or without night sweats, loss of sex drive or libido, dry vagina, itchy vagina without a yeast infection, color change in the vaginal area turning darker purple looking, fatigue, feelings of depression or doom, difficulty concentrating, breast tenderness. Honestly its like going through early menopause. You absolutely need to have your hormone blood levels checked. You may be able to get HRT. Hormone Replacement Therapy. It does help. Take care.
