Is age relative .. Or that just silly? A little silly I think but here me out

So lets say someone is 30.. and they have been with their spouse since they were 20. so A third of their life.. Is that the same as someone who is 45 and been with their spouse since they were 30.. It all a third of a persons life.. WOULD U TAKE THE ADVICE EQUALLY REGARDLESS OF AGE?

  • like MARRIAGE advice or life in general? I take parenting advice more seriously from people who've been parents longer than me. Ditto on marriage advice..... so I suppose life advice is best coming from someone who's lived it more

  • I will listen to what they have to say no matter what age.

  • Depends on their maturity level, not so much duration of marriage for me

  • It would have to depend on the person. I am best friends with a woman who is 32. Her mother is my age 52, but she is extremely mature and has been through a lot. My husband is 8 years older than me. We got married when I was 28 and he was 36. We have been happily married for 25 years.

  • It depends on the person, more than their age. Experience is a necessary component, though.
