Whats good to use for a dog to keep fleas and ticks off it

  • Frontline or Advantage works really well. I also heard giving them raw garlic with each feeding helps too

  • I use comfortis (a pill) for fleas. I really don't know much about ticks.

  • I use comfortis for my dogs also. It's the only medicine their vet will use- he believes it's healthier for them than the drops on their skin and I KNOW it's better for them than flea/tick collars. I'd never recommend using one of those. I know before we started using the comfortis we used K-9 Advantix and that worked wonderfully also.
