  • Go to a pool supply store. They used to sell a little thing that you put a small chlorine tablet in that floats on the top of the water. We had it when I was a kid.

  • You can get a small chlorine floater with 1 inch chlorine tabs. Only use 1-2 tabs in it, and never let the tabs touch the vinyl directly. Also, like the previous responder said, use a skimmer. Also, don't cover your pool. It needs to breathe.

  • Not sure if you can use anything in an inflatable pool that you would use in a normal one. I honestly dont know though hope someone comes up with an answer for ya. We dont have a large small pool like that but rather smaller kiddie pools here & every other day I have to empty them then once a week scrub them a bit. The large pool (not inflatable) gets cleaned once a year meaning we hop in & scrub it then through out the summer we use one of those pumps & if needed I'm sure we will toss in the vaccum thingy. Do you hvae a net to skim the top of the water & catch up grass etc. Do you also have a small bucket otuside the pool for people to dunk their feet in to keep out grass etc?

  • We have a scrub rug in front of our kiddie pool to help keep out the debris.

  • ok, so the chlorine tabs-thing is what i need. we bought a skimmer(handheld, of course) and that gets used alot for grass, bugs. we just needed to be able to keep the 'gunk' out..nasty water, y'know.
